Hi there!

I’m Tara Kulkarni, a SOVAS and One Voice award-nominated voiceover artist and primary care physician who has worked on commercials, promos, animation, e-learning, animation, medical/corporate narration, Voice of God projects, audiobooks, and everything in between!

My medical training allows me to bring clarity and precision to complex medical terminology while making sure the information is accessible and engaging for all audiences.

I still work part-time as a physician but have plenty of flexibility in my schedule; I am available for live-directed sessions and can turn around scripts quickly.

Fun facts

-I'm of South Asian (Indian) descent

-I'm a Sopralto (ok, I made that up - Alto 2 to Soprano 1 range) doing collegiate and community choral singing for over 25 years (who doesn't love a good Messiah sing-in?).

-My 3 dogs were adopted in 3 different states (CA, TX, and VA). I've often wondered if they have different accents. 

-My mirror writing is more legible than my regular writing. 

-I've been a background actor (aka extra) for 2 decades - Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Walker (the reboot!), Madam Secretary, Royal Pains among many many others.

-I've got a 2nd degree brown belt in Isshinryu karate. Just sayin'.
